Yes. Families can join MusicTeacherNotes to help them get more out of private music lessons, even if their music teacher isn’t a MusicTeacherNotes member. Ideally, a music teacher will join with a teacher account and have their students register and connect to them. However, families can join and use the site without their music teacher.
If you join MusicTeacherNotes as a parent or a student, ask your music teacher if they are members. If they are, get their studio code so you can connect to their account and interact with them. If they are not members, perhaps suggest the website to them. They will surely benefit and enjoy all that MusicTeacherNotes has to offer.
MusicTeacherNotes works for all private music teachers for all musical instruments. Piano teachers who teach young children can especially benefit. Many piano teachers have parents who struggle with how to motivate their children to practice the piano. MusicTeacherNotes can help those students structure piano practice and get a lot more practice out of students between music lessons.
