How do I see my student's music journal?

MusicTeacherNotes studio management software allows private music teachers to manage and view their students' online music journals. Teachers, parents, and students can add assignments to a music journal. Journal assignments can help parents and students generate a practice plan via the Practice Plan Creator.

To view a Music Journal, click the Music Journal option. This will open the music journal app section of your account. Select the student. Then, open the day you wish to see for the applicable student. You can add new items to the Music Journal and assess the skills from the last lesson. You can also do this by clicking the Calendar and opening the date of the lesson, and selecting the applicable student.

When you add skills to the Music Journal, parents and students will see what you've added.
