I received my Honours Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University where I studied piano with concert pianists Leslie Kinton, Eve Egoyan, and veteran pedagogue Ralph Elsaesser. Following university, I taught at Royal Music College; after a few years I decided to open my own private studio and have been teaching privately ever since. I also studied voice and currently sing with The Edison Singers, a professional chamber choir based in the GTA. We perform regularly in Toronto, Guelph, Elora and Niagara-on-the-Lake and record under the Naxos label. I love sharing my passion for music with children. I believe in the importance of music literacy and teach my students how to read notes and decode rhythms independently. I am always thrilled to watch the progress of these young musicians.
