Growing up in a rural area of Saskatchewan with plenty of time on her hands, Lesley filled the hours with music. She always loved playing the piano. Thought to be a performer at first, she completed a B. of Music Degree in Piano Performance, and then as the winner of the Young Artist Series Competition, she performed a series of 10 concerts across Western Canada. She then realized her love of teaching. She taught in several music schools, adding an Education Degree, and then took the leap to open NUVO Music School 12 years ago in the South Surrey area providing lesson services in the neighboring cities of White Rock, Langley, and Delta. NUVO Music School is now expanding across the prairies offering in-home and on-line piano and vocal lessons, as well as on-line guitar, violin, voice, clarinet, trumpet & saxophone lessons, all taught by highly qualified and engaging teachers. Between personal instruction and running NUVO Music School, Lesley has brought music to many families throughout the years. She is excited to bring an integrated approach to learning the piano with a focus on building confidence and fostering creativity through consistent weekly instruction and practice with progress being key and achieving tangible results.

Students (Parents for younger students) will need to register for a free MusicTeacherNotes account. If you are a current student of mine at NUVO Music School and haven't registered your MusicTeacherNotes account, please click the orange button below. You will use the studio code (8T76Y) to connect your family account to my teacher account.
MusicTeacherNotes is free for students. They have an upgradable option available, called the Gold Plan, but upgrading is not required. I can manage our music lessons whether you use their free account or their Gold account.
MusicTeacherNotes helps music teachers manage their students and helps students learn music faster. By empowering parents and students to get much more out of private music lessons, learning music becomes a better experience for everyone.
