I have been teaching students of all ages for over 30 years. I teach guitar, bass guitar, and banjo. I have a degree in music from the Atlanta Institute of Music where I learned music theory, reading, ear training, and transcription. I have performed in many bands across multiple genres since 1988. My teaching style is to tailor lessons to bring forth the best effort from students. I believe the more a student can improve, the more they will enjoy learning. In my lessons, you can expect to learn proper technique and fundamentals, including music theory.

MusicTeacherNotes is free for students. They have an upgradable option available, called the Gold Plan, but upgrading is not required. I can manage our music lessons whether you use their free account or their Gold account.
