As a Master Teacher of voice, I hold a BA and MA in voice, music theory, and music education from Adams State University, CO, and post-graduate studies from Wichita State University. I studied voice with Edward Richmond, George Gibson, Julia Monroe, Jacqueline Vitorino, Marlena Kleinmann-Malas,, and Frances Bible. I have performed many operatic roles (Sacramento Opera, Davis Comic Opera, Wichita State University Opera), and I have extensive recital experience (Colorado, Kansas, California, Texas). Languages for singing include Italian, German, and French. I studied piano with Robert Neill, Charles DeHeart, and Suzanne Pagan and have substantial accompanying experience. My choral singing includes Sacramento Choral Arts Society; Conspirare, Chorus Austin, and San Gabriel Chorale (Texas) I believe that all students can learn, and I am committed to the success of my students. I strive to possess a deep understanding of how students learn and develop, and I make every effort to create positive learning environments for all students, regardless of current skills or ability levels.
