While I am admittedly not the greatest musician alive, you will be hard pressed to find a music instructor who is better suited to actually teach you or your child. Unlike many others offering music lessons who are 95% musician, and 5% instructor, I have spent the last decade refining my skills not only as a musician, but especially as a full-time educator while working as an elementary school teacher and, most recently, assistant principal. After beginning teaching private music lessons in 2010 in California, I look forward to continuing my studio online from my new home here in Northwest Arkansas where I now reside with my wife of 13 years and five children. I am a classically trained baritone, and picked up the guitar and ukulele along the way as they are fantastic tools for accompanying songs that I love to sing. I am passionate about giving my students a learning experience that is safe, engaging, energizing, and challenging! Because no two students are the same, no two lessons are the same, either. Rather than using generic pre-packed lesson sequences, I tailor each lesson to the needs, goals, and abilities of each individual student. This is the high caliber of lessons that can only be taught by a savvy musician and educator. Visit http://savvymusiclessons.com to learn more!

Students (Parents for younger students) will need to register for a free MusicTeacherNotes account. If you are a current student of mine at Savvy Music Lessons and haven't registered your MusicTeacherNotes account, please click the orange button below. You will use the studio code (86HTX) to connect your family account to my teacher account.
MusicTeacherNotes is free for students. They have an upgradable option available, called the Gold Plan, but upgrading is not required. I can manage our music lessons whether you use their free account or their Gold account.
MusicTeacherNotes helps music teachers manage their students and helps students learn music faster. By empowering parents and students to get much more out of private music lessons, learning music becomes a better experience for everyone.
